Season 4 of The Fall Line premiered in January of 2019, and was the first episodic release — six episodes covering seven cases of missing, murdered, and unidentified victims throughout the Southeast.
The season tackles a number of issues that have been under-explored in mainstream media and in the true-crime community. These include the dangers faced by hotel housekeepers, the undercoverage of Doe cases, violence directed toward the trans and nonbinary communities, the epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous women in the US, and much more.
Drawing on extensive police and family interviews, hundreds of pages of case files, and months worth of archival and field research, this season exposes listeners to cases they’ve never heard of — and highlights why significant coverage has been so lacking.
